At 60 Minutes, I supported producers from initial pitch through final delivery. Working at the program I grew up watching and idolizing was a dream come true and an education in the highest standards of journalism.

My time producing broadcast segments taught me the importance of meticulous reporting and fact-checking, the value of trusting your instincts in the field, and finding the humanity in every story, whether the subject was a world leader, a celebrated artist, or an everyday person.
